O sensor APS-C de 24,2 megapíxeis Exmor™ CMOS da câmara oferece uma ampla gama de sensibilidade e um excelente desempenho de baixo ruído.
Em conjunto com o motor de processamento de imagem BIONZ X™ de última geração, oferece belas imagens de alta resolução com nitidez e reprodução de textura soberbas.
O AF de olhos em tempo real deteta e foca automaticamente os olhos do seu assunto quando pressiona o obturador da SONY A6600 + 18-135MM até meio, e pode inclusive priorizar o olho direito ou esquerdo do mesmo.
Quando o AF-C está definido, mantém uma focagem estável, mesmo quando o rosto está parcialmente oculto ou com luz de fundo, ou o assunto está voltado para baixo.
O mecanismo de estabilização de imagem ótica na estrutura de 5 eixos utilizado nas nossas aclamadas câmaras full-frame foi adaptado para utilização como uma unidade de estabilização para o sensor APS-C neste modelo.
